Chicken Stock for Morons written 5 years ago

Saucepan

I’ve recently discovered that real chicken stock is delicious*, and transforms anything it is added to into a bubbling puddle of love. Here’s a method to construct it that doesn’t involve many words:

Put
  • chicken bits
  • root veg
  • cold water
in pan.

Put fire under pan.

Come back in at least 2 hours.

Strain through sieve.

Freeze until needed.

Or do it like Jamie does it..

* Once you’ve tried it you’ll never go back to that stuff in yellow boxes.. Well you will, because nobody has time to roast a chicken for every time they need some chicken stock.
